Cable car in forest areas often illegal
It is a popular tourist attraction in Thailand: swinging through the treetops like a monkey hanging from a cable. Many of these ziplines are illegal. So is the 'Flight of the Gibbon' cable car that has been built in Mae On National Forest Reserve in Chiang Mai.
The 'Flight of the Gibbon' cable car in Chiang Mai has been closed after three Israeli tourists were injured on Friday. The two adults and a 7-year-old boy crashed into each other and fell hard to the ground.
Cable car in the province of Loei or not?
For years, there has been talk of building a cable car in the Phu Kradueng Nature Park in Loei province. Visitors then no longer have to struggle to reach the top of the mountain. Phu Kradueng is the most famous landmark in Loei province.
