As the owner of a lovely house south of Hua Hin, I have the following question, is it customary or perhaps even mandatory that the owner of the land is asked for permission when I want to make an extension to the house or build an extra guesthouse on the plot? FYI: Plot is (full chanot) leased for 30 years, registered with the Land Office and not on a resort.
