Getting to know your (future) in-laws is and remains an exciting event. Paul Schiphol wrote a story about this in October 2014. It is nice when he finds that his Thai father-in-law has apparently accepted that his son does not bring home a daughter-in-law, but a farang as a son-in-law.

In Thailand, during the corona pandemic, the temperatures of people entering a shop or department store were taken on a large scale. An absolutely pointless activity of course, not to mention the QR registration. A nice story of some friends who come to Thailand for the first time. No temples or Thai culture, just enjoy what the nightlife in Bangkok and Pattaya has to offer. It is the story of Khun Peter, which was already on the blog years ago, but fits very well in our series “You experience all kinds of things in Thailand”
