Thailand question: Is there anything clear about the quarantine obligation as of November 1?
I would like to know if anyone has heard or read anything about the mandatory quarantine as of November 1? It was mentioned everywhere that it would be canceled but I have my doubts.
The website of the Thai embassy in Belgium (Brussels) and the Netherlands (The Hague) states that the quarantine period linked to the CoE has been changed from October 1, 2021. Starting tomorrow, the ASQ will last a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 10 days.
Thailand question: Will Bangkok open without quarantine and CoE?
I learned on Sawasdee Thailand, that Bangkok would open on October 15, without quarantine and CoE. Have you heard more details or conditions about this?
The Ministry of Health is asking the Thai government to shorten the duration of mandatory quarantine for incoming travelers from 14 days to 7-10 days from next month.
The Department of Health will announce next week which golf courses will be designated as Alternative State Quarantine facilities. The possibility to combine your Quarantine with golf only applies to golfers from low-risk countries. Six golf courses have signed up for the program.

…. or should I write 'in detention'? Then it would at least be a voluntary detention; after all, I had a choice.
Reader Submission: Our quarantine is almost over!
Quarantine is almost over for us. After the second negative test, we are allowed to stay in our hotel with some more 'privileges' (this is filled in a different way for each hotel).

I'm going into ASQ for 23 days on the 15rd this month. Curious how you got through the 15 days of "isolation"? Share your experience and it will help me and perhaps someone else to get through this period.
We're almost there (but not quite yet...)
A few days ago I wrote about the Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ). I have now taken some steps again and given the many reactions to my contribution, I think it would be good to share my further experiences with you.

I hope to return to Thailand in the middle of next month, on the basis of my non-immigrant O visa. I have completed the application for the required Certificate of Entry (COE) on coethailand.mfa.go.th and digitally attached the required documents.
