Purchase of a home in Thailand and additional tax bill
My partner and I bought a house in the Krabi area; my partner took care of the paperwork and I took care of the financing. The transfer of ownership took place at the Land Registry, where I believe transfer tax was also paid. However, now we are confronted with an additional tax bill where we have to pay 6%.

Thai wife has no income. She wants a loan for house purchase. Can she get a loan from a Thai bank with a financial guarantee from her Belgian husband? The spouse is registered and residing in Thailand and whose income is deposited into Thai bank.

I am in the process of purchasing a house. It is customary to deposit 10% of the purchase amount as a deposit for the final transfer.
