Dear readers,

A revised edition of the booklet “Thai for Travelers” has been published. It is available as a free e-book and can be used on a tablet, smartphone, laptop or e-reader.

It can be downloaded from www.nangsue.nl. With this e-book you have a nice vocabulary and a number of practical phrases at hand. If speaking is not possible, you can also have the Thai text read. It also contains general information.

This now seems like a commercial message, but I'm giving it away for free because it's quite a handy booklet and it's a shame if only I use it.

Particularly well-composed booklet, from which I have been getting good things for years to support my Thai lessons. It's just a pity that the tone marks on the phonetic words deviate from the normal use (international). For the rest nothing but praise for the composition.

'Special' is also a deviation from the usual spelling.

But you have a point. Found a paper version of the booklet, nice work.

It is not possible to download from nangsue.nl with iOS.
That site hasn't been maintained in a while?
    Regrettably.

    Excellent booklet.
I just have one comment. The word ฉัน chan for 'I' used by women (and by men in friendly and intimate contact) is not pronounced with a rising tone, as the booklet says and the spelling suggests, but always with a high tone. There are more words (not that many) in Thai where spelling and pronunciation vary.

Unfortunately it is a pdf file and not an e-pub file. So download and print via PC. Can also be read via reader for PC.

nothing but praise for making this difficult sound language a bit manageable.
