Chill Out in Krabi (video)
Krabi is a popular coastal province on the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. The province also includes 130 tropical islands. In Krabi you will find the typical overgrown limestone rocks that sometimes protrude from the sea. In addition, the beautiful beaches are worth a visit, as well as a number of mysterious caves.
About 20 km northwest of Krabi town are beautiful beaches like Ao Nang and Rai Leh. Some beaches are well hidden and only accessible by boat. Krabi is the perfect destination for peace and romance and therefore the ideal location for a honeymoon, for example.
Krabi became more famous by acting as a film location, such as for the Hangover 2. Earlier Phi Phi island became world famous through the movie “The Beach”.
The best time to visit the islands is from October to April. The province is also popular with adventurous travelers, you can go sailing, canoeing, snorkeling, island hopping and hiking.
The Bangkok-Krabi connection is not only maintained by Thai Airways, but also by AirAsia, for example. Krabi has an international airport.
