The 22 year old Alexander albon, son of a British father and Thai mother, will be making his debut for the Torro Rosso racing team in the XNUMX season Formula 1 and thus becomes a colleague of our Max Verstappen.

Alexander will drive under the Thai flag, following in the footsteps of the legendary Prince Birabongse Bhanudej, better known as Prince Bira of Siam, who competed in no less than 1947 Grands Prix between 1954 and 29, 19 of which were in Formula 1. Bira achieved once a second place in France and a third in Italy.

The young Albon was born in London on March 23, 1996 and is regarded as a great racing talent. He doesn't get that from a stranger because his father Nigel Albon is a former BTCC driver. Alexander turned out to be a karting phenomenon and stood out for his racing qualities, which is why he joined Red Bull's junior program. Due to good performances in GP3 and Formula 2, he was later asked by Helmut Marko to make his debut with the Formula 1 team of Toro Rosso, the sister of Red Bull Racing. Max Verstappen made his debut in 2016 with Toro Rosso, after which he made the switch to Red Bull Racing after four races.

If Alexander Albon turns out to be just as great a talent as Max, we will enjoy him a lot and Thailand will also be proud of a representative in the premier class of motorsport.

The Formula 1 season will start on March 17, 2019 in Melbourne, where the Australian GP will be held.

So possibly directly on Thai TV

Max made his debut in 2015, drives the Toro Rosso all season, in 2016 he drives the first 4 races for Toro Rosso, after Danni Kvyatt makes big mistakes, he is put back and our Max is promoted to RedBull driver.
The rest is history and will only get better.
Alex Albon fought with Max many times when they were still in karting.
Red Bull is 51% owned by the Thai Yoovidhya family, so a driver with Thai roots fits nicely into the picture.

The Yoovidhya family doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to responsible driving.
