Thai boxing or Muay Thai is an ancient martial art that has been practiced in Thailand for centuries. Thai boxing is very popular in Thailand and was practiced here and in neighboring countries in times of peace by the soldiers and farmers. Over the years it has developed into one of the most effective martial arts in the world.

In Thai boxing, in which everything seems to be allowed at first sight, however, people are bound by rules. Allowed is the use of fists, elbows, knees and legs.

In the late XNUMXs and early XNUMXs, Europeans and Americans began to become more and more interested in this sport. The sport was also introduced in the Netherlands during this period. Here, Thai boxing was transformed into kickboxing by regulatory changes, by banning certain techniques and leaving out the traditional ritual dances (the rammuai) from the competition program.

    Superb VDO!.
Another recommendation is to visit a Muay Thai school in Thailand YOURSELF. You are certainly not the only Farang who has come up with the idea of doing something about his / her fitness and it is something else than walking and swimming.
You have to like getting up early, because the training sessions take place in the early morning
Highly recommended is the Fairtex complex in Pattaya/BKK
