Saphan Phut Night Market in Bangkok (video)
The Saphan Phut night market also known as the 'Memorial Bridge night market', is located next to the Chao Praya in Bangkok. The market is very popular because of the many products for low prices.
If you are looking for a brand replica or second-hand stuff, you can go there. Furthermore, there is an abundance of DVDs, video games, T-shirts, jeans, handbags, shoes and accessories. There are also nice items made of bamboo.
As in any market you can eat well. From delicious chicken wings, squid eggs, spicy sausages and other snacks. You will certainly find the more common dishes such as noodle soup, pork balls on a stick, Pad Thai, Som Tam (papaya salad) and more.
If you want a full body tattoo, it will take you a few months and several sessions. This only costs around 60.000 baht here. For comparison on Koh San Road it costs 100.000 baht.
