Whoever visits the center of Bangkok cannot ignore it: CentralWorld, a shopping center of unprecedented size. Not only the area of 550.000 square meters is impressive, but also the number of shops: no less than 500. You also have the choice of 21 cinemas. Got hungry from shopping? How about 50 restaurants?

CentralWorld is the sixth largest shopping mall in the world. For that reason alone it is worth a visit. The department stores Isetan and Zen are located in the mall itself. The Major Cineplex and SF World cinema chains are also present in the complex.

Central World is located in the Pathum Wan district at the Ratchaprasong intersection and can be reached by Skytrain (Chidlom and Siam stations). You can also go there by boat taxi (get off at the pier at Khlong Saen Saeb).

Although there is parking space for about 7000 cars under the shopping center, it is not advisable to go by car or taxi because the traffic is usually deadlocked.
