Thailand women types

In Thailand you will find women of all shapes and sizes. I would like to write a whole story about that, but I can't do it better than two female editors of Coconuts Bangkok. They describe 13 female types you can meet. It is placed in Bangkok, but it also applies to other larger (tourist) places.

The story is based on anecdotal “evidence”, observation and hours of conversations with “real men”. If you already know Thailand you will certainly recognize some types and if you are a newcomer you can consider it as a "crash course". Whichever way you look at it, the story is meant to be humorous.

It is written in English and not only too long to translate, but a translation would also do the sometimes beautiful use of words no good.

So here's the link: bangkok.coconuts.co/2016/08/26/13-girls-youll-date-bangkok

If you find the story too sexist, the editors of Coconuts have a consolation for you: soon there will be a similar story about the men of Thailand.

    Amazing… and seen through a woman's eyes.
Also look at the names of the editors.
Not really Western I guess. Laurel Tuohy and Prae Sakaowan.

The counterpart about men is already there by Jessica Rabbit (what's in a name…)

Interesting piece to study on a Sunday morning. I actually recognize very little in the counterpart about men.

Sexist? Maybe I didn't read it right?
I recognize the 'types' referred to here. I also have a 9 year marriage with an Isaan-Thai. I temporarily lived together as a test, I had girlfriends who also shared my bed on weekends. I have been active on websites for many years with the hope that I will come across the one that can make me 'feel in love' but alas. I'm not seriously looking because if I list all the pros and cons, then being 'single' and being independent, the freedom, also has something.
If I wish that all my 'needs' could be satisfied such as, massage, food, attention, going out and sharing experiences, a good in-depth conversation, enjoying the same TV programs together and then sex life as it pleases me, that if I can't find it in 1 person, then I would have to commit myself to an entire street, so to speak.
I find that when it comes down to it, 95% of all Thai women on dating sites, whether it's a school teacher shouting loudly that she's not a 'Bar-girl', or it's a pretty girl who works at a bar, they are looking for a man who, in addition to 'normal qualities', also helps to solve financial problems and offers security for 'old age'. There is no difference in this while both claim that they are so different.
