It is no longer possible for the Flemings to book a direct flight. You always have to fly via Paris, Schiphol, Dusseldorf or Frankfurt. From Zaventem only via – via.

Thai airways has been flying direct from brussels to bangkok for some time now, and this daily …

Sorry but ThaiAir flies 3x a week from Brussels directly to BKK.
The service is simply top notch. It is best to book through a travel agency because directly
on the ThaiAir website, the tickets are usually more expensive. I also know the reason for this
      not.

It is more nuanced if you can make a list of 3 or five aspects in order of importance.

That's sad you guys. With the voiture you are quickly in Düsseldorf. A stopover in Dubai or Abu Dhabi is good against thrombosis. But well, after sitting in an aluminum pipe for about 6 hours, is it nice to be able to stretch your legs?.
You can park cheaply outside Düsseldorf Airport. You will be picked up from this guarded parking lot and taken to the airport. That's not wrong.

Why would it no longer be possible to travel directly to Bangkok via Belgium? I'll see you this year but next year?? Thai airways was going to switch to 4 flights a week, right?

Aspects such as the service on board the aircraft, the amount of hand luggage and the convenience of the airline's website appear to be UNIMPORTANT to lovers of this popular holiday destination.
IMPORTANT is a wrong choice of words. The aforementioned aspects are indeed important, only less important than the price and the ability to fly directly.
