Goong Pao is not really special but very tasty. Whoever walks around in Thailand usually sees them very displayed. Large shrimps that are roasted in front of you and then served with a delicious sauce. The tastiest shrimps have been in a dressing for a while before they are grilled. The sauce is perfect when it strikes a harmonious balance between sweet, salty and spicy. This makes it the perfect complement to the slightly smoky taste of Thai grilled shrimp.
