Anyone who talks to expats who have a Thai partner will sometimes hear: “My partner does not come from a bar!”. I met her at the hairdresser / 7-Eleven / on the beach / in a restaurant / in the waiting room at an STD clinic …… and so on fill in the blanks yourself.

Monkey School in Surat Thani

We now know how people torture animals for their own gain. It can also be very different and that can be seen in Surat Thani with monkeys. It is very nice to visit the monkey school there.
This year for the first time, we stay in Thailand without a home address in Holland (but postal address). We stay here for 6 to 7 months and then go back to Holland. We rent a house there. Once back in the Netherlands, we register again in the GBA, and so on and so forth. My SVB official was a bit difficult about that…!

Pup rescued from plight (video)

It took a lot to save this young dog. The curious pup had become stuck in a steel tube that he had crawled into. Rescuers cut the tube with heavy material and the unfortunate dog could be saved with green soap.
I am now in the Netherlands and I am offered a mini box receiver that is easy to connect and has a monthly cost of 1.000 Bath for reception of all Dutch channels.
