I once went with a friend to a place where there is a large temple or something similar, with stairs to the top. Was in the Bangkok area. There were all wires stretched upwards about 50 meters I thought. Some monks hung notes on the wires, the notes were then pulled up where other monks took them off, loud music played all the time.
