Much flooding and flooding in the southernmost provinces of Thailand. In the municipality of Nakhon Si Thammarat, the water is 1 meter high in the streets. A crocodile has escaped from the flood in Yala province.

Continuous heavy rainfall caused a lot of flooding. From the Khao Luang mountain ranges, the water flowed to the lower areas of Nakhon Si Thammarat and other districts of this southern province.

About 20.000 people in 11 districts of Phatthalung province have been affected by the floods. Some 50.000 rai of farmland has been destroyed and more than 30 schools have been closed.

The remote areas in Songkhla province are difficult to reach, even where the water is one meter deep. The Su-Ngai Kolok River has burst its banks and the low-lying areas have been flooded.
