Call: Contacted Dutch ladies in Thailand

Hello Dutch ladies in Thailand,

I am moving to Thailand with my husband. I would very much like to get in touch with Dutch women between 40-60 years old (I am 53 years old) who live in Thailand, to exchange ideas about the following topics:

  • how can I integrate as well as possible in the future;
  • what are the pluses and minuses of various places to live (we are looking for a village outside one of the smaller cities in Northern Thailand and the main priorities are nature and quiet living);
  • what opportunities are there to do voluntary work for people or animals;
  • information and experiences regarding buying or renting a house without unnecessary luxury;
  • information and experiences about getting married in Thailand or converting a registered partnership into a marriage, etc.

Are there ladies willing to email me or send me a Facebook invite? My facebook name is Mique Quipère. My email address is [email protected]

Sincerely,

Mike Cooper

      Hi Barry, thanks for the tip, I think I can find the contacts I'm looking for here!
      Greetings,
      Mieke.

    Unfortunately, I am not a lady and therefore apparently do not belong to the group that can / can give you advice. Also my age does not fall into your target group (63) so ….unfortunately. Anyway, good luck in Thailand.

    Perhaps superfluous because you want information about volunteering… Even if you have a long-stay visa, you still need a work permit in Thailand for volunteering. Volunteering in Thailand without a work permit can lead to arrest and deportation.

      Thank you all very much for the responses! Unfortunately only 1 response from a lady via email... I did register on the forum Barry is talking about, I think that is the right place to make contact with other women!
