The editors received several e-mails from readers who alerted us to a missing person in Thailand. It concerns the former marathon runner Rob Strik from Baarn.

The 65-year-old Strik left for Thailand and was supposed to return to the Netherlands last Friday, September 6, but that did not happen.

Rob has a slim build and an artificial knee. On his left upper arm he has a tattoo with the numbers 2.19.56:XNUMX:XNUMX, which refer to the best time he ever ran in the marathon.

If anyone has seen Rob or knows where he is staying, please contact the police.
