You experience something in Bangkok. Are you sleeping peacefully, you wake up to the barking of a street dog that tries to protect its puppies from a hungry crocodile.

It happened to Sawang Napawan (53), who lives at Soi 44 on Seri Thai Road. At first she thought that the stray dog she cares for had become a victim of burglars. But the barking had a different cause. An adult crocodile looking for a succulent snack had his eyes on the dog's puppies.

Yes, that was a bit of a shock, a crocodile in the middle of Bangkok and no one knows where the beast comes from. The woman alerted her neighbors and together with a volunteer managed to catch and tie up the crocodile.

According to police commander Suphol Kamchoo, the district has many natural ponds, where the crocodile may have been hiding. It could also be an exotic pet belonging to someone who has recently escaped. The crocodile goes to a shelter.
