Extreme triking in Chiang Mai (video)
In Chiang Mai, Thai daredevils go down the hills with a kind of trike. It looks spectacular and is not entirely without danger. Fun for adrenaline junkies.
Speed and danger is an excellent cocktail for the youngsters. That also applies to Thai, of course. Sometimes overconfident due to high testosterone levels, these men plunge down the hilly roads in Chiang Mai at the risk of life and limb. This is done with a kind of cross between a scooter and a bicycle. Speeds are reached up to 65 kilometers per hour. A helmet and protective clothing is mandatory, but I don't think that's a superfluous luxury.
