Dream of a girl in Amnat Charoen
When Amnat Charoen police recently raided the home of a drug user to collect more evidence, they found an emotionally charged drawing (pictured below) made by the suspect's daughter. The drawing symbolizes what was going on in the house and clearly indicates what the daughter thinks of it.
With this simple drawing in a school exercise book, the girl shows how she imagines her future as an adult woman. “I am becoming a police officer because I want to catch yaba users,” reads the Thai text accompanying the drawing. A little girl's drama and dream in a nutshell.
The photo was released by the official police site “Thailand Police Story” and is receiving huge acclaim on social media. On the other hand, there are also doubts about the authenticity of the drawing, especially the spelling of the text.

if a graphologist/writing expert can see what age category this girl is in, but no age is mentioned in the message, can someone find out??
My first impression: 12 years old……………or older, certainly not younger.
I can't explain anything about the language: Thai in not my language.
This is the font use / writing of a Thai child somewhere at the beginning of primary school.
Easy to read for us foreigners, so the child can't be that old yet.

The text in no way proves that drugs were being traded in the house.
She only speaks out against the use of drugs.
This could also have been a lesson about it at school, or maybe she lives in a neighborhood with a lot of drug users.

It also seems strange that the girl would want to become a police officer in order to catch her own parents.
The text says: I want to become a police officer to arrest people who smoke jaabaa. ( สูบ = suup = smoking) Not drug users in general. I'm not well informed but I think jaabaa are pills, which you don't smoke...
Just a child's drawing of a girl saying what she wants to be when she grows up? Maybe I once made such a drawing myself and then added that I wanted to catch crooks. While my father was definitely not a criminal.
