Thailand is a hospitable holiday destination according to the Dutch
Always wanted to know which country is the most hospitable? Zoover looked into it, and guess what? Holiday enthusiasts find the Greeks and then the Thai the most hospitable and friendly. In total, more than 300 holiday enthusiasts participated in the survey.
Opinions are divided about the second place in the top 10. Countries such as Thailand, Bali and Japan are often mentioned when it comes to hospitability and friendliness. Dutch tourists feel very welcome by the Asian population. It is therefore not surprising that Asian countries are becoming increasingly popular.
The 3rd place, with 14% of the vote, is for Turkey. The Turks are seen as very friendly people to whom you quickly become attached, according to one respondent. In addition to Austria and Italy, the Dutchman gives his own population a shared fourth place in the list. This may have to do with the fact that going on holiday in the Netherlands is very 'personal' and people get what is expected.
The English, Swiss, French and Belgians are regarded as least hospitable and friendly by Dutch holidaymakers. Together they only get 4% of the vote.
