In Bangkok Post there is another incident with the construction of the new metro lines in the capital, this time with the construction of the extended Green Line. Earlier, the construction of the Red Line (Bang Sue-Rangsit) was halted after three workers were killed when a steel support structure fell down.

While unloading a large beam, a crane truck lost its balance and fell over. There are no reports of deaths or injuries. The Green Line is being expanded in two places. The incident happened at Air Force Headquarters.

Much too heavy a crane for this truck, what a madman

That it would be much too heavy a crane for this truck is complete nonsense. It is often the improper use of these heavy machines by humans. These types of accidents do not only happen in Thailand, they also regularly tip over in the Netherlands and the rest of the world.

Can you please give me the specifications of the crane? What it looks like is that a stand has broken off or that the load angle has been exceeded??
Can say anything without knowing the facts.
Think of Alphen aan de Rijn.

Eh the collapse of a NEW parking garage that was not even in use in Eindhoven.

Chips fall where work is done. So where there is no work, nothing happens.

Was the crane properly outrigged and was the surface firm enough or did the operator use the well-known rubber band to bridge the security?
    Questions enough
