A fire has broken out in the cabin of a Ferris wheel at the Dinosaur Planet Park theme park in the Thai capital Bangkok. No one was injured. Firefighters had the fire under control after 20 minutes.
Dinosaur Planet is an amusement park that is all about dinosaurs. In the theme park of 2.000 square meters you can admire no fewer than 200 dinosaurs that also move and make sounds.
Thanks to the rain yesterday, the fire did not turn out to be a disaster. A cabin of the (five-storey high) Ferris wheel caught fire at XNUMX:XNUMX yesterday afternoon, but the attraction was already closed due to heavy rain. The flames were clearly visible for miles around.
After the fire broke out, visitors evacuated, but half an hour later people were already queuing again to visit the park, which opened on March 25. The fire is believed to have been caused by a short circuit.
