In the province of Lampang, the elderly can rest from their hard work and enjoy their old age in peace. Not only old but also sick and disabled elephants can go there. It is specially equipped for shelter and can accommodate a total of two hundred elephants. The first thirty places are already taken. Residents include 72-year-old blind elephant Mae Hong Son and 53-year-old Pang Bua-Kam, who was recently rescued in Bangkok.

Thailand live an estimated four thousand elephants. Half of these animals live in the wild. The other half is mostly used for forestry.

I think this is very bad what they do to those animals, but that's how you put the world in a , if it
but money brings in. the day like today people do everything to get money
if one has to kill for it, they don't take that into account as long as it pays off.
That's why the world is bad, everything revolves around money, sex, drugs and power, a person is a numero, they no longer respect each other, not to mention the animals that are massively slaughtered for their fur, ivory , and etc…. I don't know for what else
all of them, people no longer have a heart, it has to be done at the expense of people and animals that are killed. What kind of world do we live in, Luc P van Belgium

The tourists in Thailand should not maintain the captive elephants: so not take a ride on the back of an elephant for a fee, etc.
