An article was published in De Telegraaf today stating that two men have been arrested in Thailand who have confessed to murdering the Dutch bar owner Fred Lelie (67) from Udon Thani.

According to De Telegraaf, it would concern the manager of the discotheque and a former employee of Lelie. Fred was found dead at his home two weeks ago. His body had been stabbed several times and his throat had been cut.

The two arrested suspects, aged 26 and 36, informed the Thai police that the murder of Lily was an act of revenge because Lily wanted to fire the manager. This man hired an ex-employee for the murder. The manager also wanted to rob the victim. The 50.000 baht that Lilie had hidden in his shoes that night had also disappeared after the murder.

An important fact is that the manager was also his friend/partner and that the Thai shares were in his name. The violent takeover was planned 8 months ago.

Sorry for the readers of De Telegraaf, but this information was already announced on various media the day after the sad facts. Since only the daily earnings, hidden in a shoe, had been stolen, and his other belongings, such as watch-gold ring - mobile phone - computer and the like, have remained untouched, there was an immediate suspicion that more was involved here than just the daily earnings Besides, how could an accidental robber know that these were in his shoe? There was talk of revenge and/or women. According to some sources, the perpetrator is a business manager who regularly spends the night in his house. All the more question marks !!!
    Who will ever know???

Ah, why am I not at all surprised by the above.

You regularly read messages like this, a farang (actual) owner of a company is eliminated so that the Thai "owner" can take over the place?
    Or sell the whole tent.

In my circle of acquaintances I have three people who have been robbed either by a (former) partner, or by a lawyer, or by others, and who that could be I leave entirely to your imagination.
The beloved game of beating a Thai partner is also often converted into expulsion.

    Starting a business in Thailand?
With a Thai partner, so 51%?
    Well no.

Coincidentally, yesterday I had spoken to the Australian neighbor (owner of a restaurant) in Udon thani about this. He told me that Lily had only hidden 20.000 baht in his socks. The perpetrators (business "friends") of Lelie were quite addicted to GAMBLING. Because these gamblers lacked money, they began to harass Lily for money more often. Lily kept refusing until this happened to him.

What n reactions again…..And just guessing, you can't go on! The day after the murder on TV, Diditje says, are you taking the investigation seriously? If you can find everything in one day, stop it. Please contact HansNl if you want to have problems, especially participate in all those constructions, until death follows!

      Hi Noah,
Excuse me, but I have not written about TV, but about various media.
In this case mainly “Thai Visa Forum” which mainly bases its information on local newspapers. Of course, the day after the fact, there were only guesses – assumptions. The manager (manager) was immediately the main suspect.
Other than that, as far as I know, there are no final conclusions yet.
      Regards.
      Didit.
