MRT removes seats from subway to increase space
The MRT has removed seats from the center section of subway cars on the Blue Line to provide more space for passengers, the operator, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Plc, said today.
In the first instance, this is an experiment with the first train that was in operation on Monday morning. Passengers are now asked to continue after the middle vehicle to make more room for passengers who have yet to board.
