Lockdown in dark red provinces extended until September 1

The lockdown of the 29 provinces hardest hit by the latest wave of Covid-19 has been extended until the end of this month. However, there are now fewer restrictions for banks and other financial services located in shopping centers.
The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) confirmed on Monday that the lockdown will remain in place until at least September 1 in the so-called dark red zone provinces due to the continued increase in infections.
Bank branches and non-bank financial offices in shopping centers will be allowed to reopen from Wednesday until the end of the month. Requests were also made to reopen IT stores, general stores and electronic appliance stores, but CCSA declined.
“The Department of Health believes that there are also alternative ways for consumers to purchase products, such as online orders,” CCSA spokesperson Taweesilp Visanuyothin said after the CCSA meeting.

It must be very strange if this is not extended until mid-September. After months of red and dark red and all the restrictions, it will at most become red and in the meantime more businesses will close their doors permanently unless you have an understanding landlord…..
I understand the measures. But I'm very upset.
My girlfriend was supposed to take her Dutch basic exam in Bangkok on August 9.
We had already counted ourselves lucky to see each other again soon.
Everything closed and flights and exam cancelled.
Now the lockdown is being extended until the end of August (which I expected).
And probably also extend in September if I judge it that way.
Terribly bummed.
But I understand that something needs to be done to curb the infections.
I hope all measures help and everything goes smoothly in the right direction.

Are you sure everything has been double checked? I was also at the embassy that day (almost all morning) and I really saw several Thai ladies who came to take the exam.

She would indeed take her exam at the Dutch embassy on August 9. But her flight from Khon Kaen to Bangkok was canceled due to the lockdown. That's why she can't go.
So we put her exam on hold for a while.
Hello, I have to go from BURIRAM to Bangkok( embassy of Belgium) in September.
I had booked a ticket with Nok air. It will not fly with the current measures.
I will now have to drive to Bangkok and back to Buriram in 1 day.
