    Hi ,
How can I get that yellow book, I had synovax twice in Bangkok, but I live near Pattaya, do I have to go back to the hospital where I was vaccinated for that yellow book????

No, you can also obtain this through another hospital, but take a copy of your passport and vaccination certificate with you. Takes several days and costs 50 baht

I wonder what the possibilities of international travel with a Thai vaccination passport are with Synovax. Synovax is not approved in Europe (nor is the Thai version of Astrazenica).

Rob, no problem. Sinovac/Coronavac has been approved by the WHO. Not yet in EU/NL but that is only for geopolitical reasons. At least you can travel with it so you can just ignore that Von Der Leijen is trying to play geopolitical games with it.

I would first inquire whether a yellow booklet is accepted. If not everywhere in Europe.
There are good reasons for this.

        A) The yellow booklet, as we know it in the Netherlands, is not registered by name, does not state a citizen service number and does not have a passport photo and can therefore be lent to anyone.

        B) All valid proofs in the Netherlands are created via your citizen service number and Digid code.
GGD checks your passport while you are taking a vaccination, and add the vaccine with date and batch number to the internal site of the RVM, where after a few weeks you can download or print your QR code via your Digid.
Later you can also get a sticker and stamp in your yellow book as an addition, which, as mentioned earlier, can be any yellow book.

I think it is a good thing that a vaccine must be approved by a European medicines agency. The USA and Thailand also have their own approval procedure.
For food, medicines and various other products, including cars and toys, different admission standards apply between countries to guarantee quality.
