Family drama in Pathum Thani raises questions

Did the 16-year-old boy shoot his parents and then kill himself, according to the first reports?

The police are starting to doubt the circumstances of the tragic family drama in Thanyaburi (Pathum Thani). According to the 19-year-old brother, his brother may have been angry because he had been scolded for his poor school results and addiction to smart-phone games.

An investigation showed that all three victims were hit in the left side of the head. The gun used to fire the fatal shots was on the boy's right side. That position indicates that he was right-handed. So the question is, why did the boy shoot himself in the left head or was someone else involved?

The story about the scolding is confirmed by an aunt. 'The boy often played games and chatted a lot on his smart-phone and he watched a lot of movies. His grades had recently dropped. So he got his head from his parents. I warned them that all that scolding could put too much pressure on the boy.'

A teacher sees it differently. 'He was a good boy. He had good grades. Always participated in school activities. I don't think he was stressed because of his grades.'

A neighbor does not believe that the boy shot. "He was well-mannered and serious about his studies." She says her daughter saw a message from him on Facebook on Saturday night, in which he thanked his parents for buying him a gift. The drama unfolded around 3 a.m. Saturday night.

The older brother denies any involvement. He says he heard gunshots. Knocked on his parents' bedroom door, but there was no answer. He took a look outside, but saw nothing unusual. The next morning he went to college. When his parents did not respond to his calls, he called his aunt. He found the three bodies in the bedroom.
