It will again rain heavily in Chumphon, Ranong and Nakhon Si Thammarat for the next three days. Residents should expect heavy rain, flooding and possible landslides, the National Disaster Warning Center warns. If you plan to travel to the south, you should be extra careful.

Fortunately, the end is in sight, according to the Meteorological Department, the rain will decrease after the weekend.

Tuesday night it happened again. Once again, the Phetkasem Road was flooded causing traffic problems. Traffic congestion occurred in two places in Bang Saphan (Prachuap Khiri Khan) because two bridges were damaged.

Lang Suan in Chumphon experienced a landslide that uprooted trees and blocked roads. A fishing boat with seven crew members on board sank near Ngam Island. Three were rescued by a fishing boat that was nearby, the others are missing.

It hurts my heart when I see the images of the water nuisance here on Thai TV every day .
My wife lived in the south for several years and recognizes many places.
All that misery and people who live or have lived in something that you can hardly or could hardly call a house .
And then another break for a commercial about another one of those multi-million-dollar apartments somewhere in Bangkok with a swimming pool on the top floor.
There must be a big difference in Thailand I think.

    Jan Beute.
