Brutal killer of girlfriend and her mother arrested
The suspect in the gruesome murder of his wife-to-be and mother-in-law was arrested yesterday, the Bangkok Post writes.
The man shot dead his girlfriend and her mother in the office of a garage in Chon Buri and then made a happy dance. All of this was captured on surveillance cameras. The shocking images went all over the world via social media.
After an intensive manhunt, the 35-year-old suspect was arrested in Cambodia about 15 km from Siem Reap. The man is now in Thailand and is being held there for the gruesome double murder.
According to a friend of the victim, the argument was about the fact that the suspect is very jealous. The man was also known to carry a gun and to be hot-tempered. For that reason, the victim had asked her mother to go with her. Unfortunately, the mother of the victim also had to pay with her death.
The suspect's criminal file also shows that he has been convicted and imprisoned three times before for firearm-related matters.
Great, the conviction should not be too difficult (go with 20 men in 1 cell and throw away the key). In retrospect it is easy to talk, but it is very unfortunate that the woman did not run away from the relationship. She will often have been threatened or had been beaten before.
In later news it can be read that the man blames his fiancée. She demanded that the sinsod be increased from 500.000 Baht to 2 million, after which the man made it all too clear that he did not agree.
I already thought that any quarrel had to do with the upcoming wedding ... This often causes enormous stress and if the groom also has a short fuse and 'likes' to walk with a firearm in his pocket ...
