On Wednesday, the body of a 57-year-old Belgian was found in his apartment on the 3rd floor in South Pattaya. While there are no signs of a break-in or injury to the man, the cause of death is unknown at this time, Pattaya One reported.

Police received a call from The Loft Condominium on Pratamnuk Hill after the man was discovered. The Belgian rented the apartment with room number 303 for a period of 1 year. He was found on the floor of the bedroom, partially clothed. He is thought to have died two days earlier. He was last seen alive by Condo staff on April 27 and was known to be a quiet man.

The Belgian's body will be examined to determine the exact cause of death. However, the police assume a natural death. The Belgian Embassy in Bangkok has been notified.

    Suprised.
I accidentally met 2 years ago during a visit to Pattaya.
We were both military, so the conversation quickly turned that way. It turned out that we worked for a while on the same management, he as a Para-Commando, me as a Marine, but apparently never met each other there.

When I met him he had just retired and settled here permanently.
However, he did not enjoy it for long.
Proves once again that you should enjoy every moment

    Rest in peace Andre

Indeed Ronny made a successful song on it under the title; Seize the Day and seize the life, for you are only here for a while, and so long dead. But on the other hand, experienced too many obscure deaths here in Pattaya that I seriously question. There was a time when many farangs hanged themselves, with their hands behind their backs and a plastic bag over their heads, and then I finally sounded the alarm about this nonsense. The Thais may believe it, but we are too sober for that.

    God rest his soul.
Still read a lot about farrangs in Pattaya who inexplicably die. Also loads of people falling/jumping off a balcony. Really bizarre.
