A striking anti-smog measure by the municipality of Bangkok. It asks next of kin not to place unnecessary objects, such as gold, silver, thick blankets or personal belongings of the deceased, in coffins, because they would contribute to the smog in the capital. Plastic decorations on the box must also be removed before it goes into the oven.

Last week, Bangkok experienced severe smog that exceeded safety limits. According to the municipality, this is also due to the crematoria in the city.

Governor Aswin says the municipality has taken XNUMX measures to combat smog, including emissions controls from trucks transporting building materials. High fences must be placed around construction sites and the wheels of trucks used to transport building materials must be sprayed clean.

Burning waste outdoors is strictly prohibited. He also says that trees are being planted in places with a lot of air pollution.

i am glad to read this. I used to think that Bangkok's traffic and factories were responsible for the air pollution, but it's the crematoriums…. Ah.
And the municipality solves the problem by planting some trees and spraying the wheels of trucks clean…..?
You're going to think that the appalling education in Thailand has far-reaching consequences for the country.

Judging from the photo, the crematoria have a lot to do. Come on. Or is the saying “if you keep them stupid, we will keep them poor.” also applies here.?

All his life he could burn without great control that which he thought he no longer needed in his life.
Plastic packaging in large, and especially unnecessary quantities, of which he never learned that they can ultimately cause great damage to nature and this world.
Everywhere he could reach those places he thought he should visit with his seldom-checked foul-smelling diesel.
Only on his very last journey in Nirvana does his coffin once again have to deal with that legislation, which, during his life, has failed miserably. Hallelujah…..
We would say mustard after the meal.

    It's a vicious circle.

Many people die from the smog.
The crematoriums have to process this, resulting in more smog!
    More smog more deaths!

It would be useful if filters for industry, car traffic, etc. were also considered in Thailand, as in many European, industrialized countries.
Remove the approved smoking "oil sets" from traffic!
