De clock will move forward an hour next night at 02:00 in Europe, it's that time again summer time. The night is then one hour shorter, the day one hour longer. The advantage is also that the time difference with Thailand is then only five hours instead of six hours.

Some people suffer from that hour less sleep. It's a bit like jet lag. Nevertheless, many Dutch and Belgians also like that extra hour of light in the evening. Summer time saves energy because the lamps do not have to be switched on as quickly.

Since 2002, all countries in the European Union have introduced summer time on the last weekend of March. Worldwide, about seventy countries change their clocks twice a year. Daylight saving time ends on the last weekend of October. Then the winter time starts and the clocks go back one hour.

Great, the football matches in Europe also start an hour earlier for us here in Thailand.
Well, I mean, if there's still football going on before winter time starts again, ha ha!
