Thailandblog marketplace aims to let our readers benefit from the enormous reach that Thailandblog has in both Thailand and the Netherlands. Every expat knows Thailandblog. It has also been found that the Dutch and Belgians prefer to buy second-hand items from each other than from, for example, Thai.
Note: Thailandblog marketplace is especially suitable for more expensive consumer goods. If you want to sell your hardly used hand blender or kettle, you can do that better at other marketplaces, where you may be able to advertise for free.
For the good cause
We ask for a small contribution of 500 baht or 12,50 euros for an advertisement. We don't put that in our own pocket because this amount is entirely intended for charity. With this contribution, the Thailandblog Charity Foundation will support the Thai Child Development Foundation in Paksong (Chumphon) this year and in 2015. A fantastic project for underprivileged children.
How does Thailandblog marketplace work?
Suppose you have something in your house that you do not use, for example an almost new mountain bike and you want to sell it. Then you create a text and send it to [email protected] We will then let you know whether the advertisement has been approved and you will receive the details to transfer your contribution. After receiving your contribution for charity, we will place the advertisement and you will receive responses. The advertisement is placed once as a normal blog posting. You can assume that your advertisement will be read between 500 and 3.000 times (page views).
What must an advertisement meet?
- You must want to sell or purchase an item.
- Your ad text can be a maximum of 300 words.
- You may offer 1 item for sale per advertisement.
- Two photos can be added.
- You must indicate under which telephone number or e-mail address interested parties can contact you.
Which articles can you place on Thailandblog marketplace?
It must concern normal, more valuable consumer goods. Think of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, TVs, refrigerators, air conditioning, fitness equipment, household appliances, computers, tools, etc. Offering illegal goods is not allowed (weapons, medicines, drugs, etc.).
Offering (rental) accommodations or real estate is also not allowed in this section. There are possibilities for this, but then you have to contact us.
