Reader question: We are looking for a reliable help in the house for my Thai mother-in-law
Dear readers,
We are looking for a reliable help in the house for my mother-in-law. She is 91 years old and can no longer cook for herself. Also needs help with showering and dressing and undressing. She walks around the house with a walker.
This help is expected to keep the house clean and to live there. Of course also the normal Thai salary.
My mother-in-law lives on Phuket in Ban Palai, about 8 kilometers from Phuket Town. This call because we (still) live in the Netherlands and the current help is leaving. The lady in question does not have to be from Phuket. Traveling home is possible about 3 times a year, because my wife and sister-in-law do the honors. My mother-in-law speaks Hokkien Chinese in addition to Thai.
