Who knows a two-person house in Hua Hin center?

Dear readers,

I am certainly not that rich, but I am very happy with my (now) Thai wife here in the Netherlands. It would be good for her especially, while I like it too, to find a Thai home to ease her homesickness.

Who knows of a two-person house in Hua Hin center that I could buy with my low (pension) income? Maybe I will find a co-owner so that the price and quality may be slightly higher.

She is not in a hurry yet because she is still working on her integration course. That could take another year, but if we can buy something for her passed exam, that would be fantastic.

Big regards,

Ruud

    Dear Ruud
As a not so wealthy retiree it seems to me that Hua Hin center is a bit above budget, and I also wonder if your wife will be happy there, most Thais prefer Cha-am which is a bit cheaper.

Googling for broker and check prices.
House in name foreigner, you need company for that (with annual costs).
Of course it can be in her name.

Dear Ruud, you should be in the center. you don't want to find an affordable home, but if you drive to the end of the soi88 towards immigration you will find numerous homes that are quite affordable and for sale around 2 to 3 million Baht, there are still neighborhoods where you can find nice cheap find homes in a suburb of Hua Hin.
Your small pension is only annoying for your annual visa, you cannot borrow with it in Thailand, or at least not with most banks, and if it does, it is at high interest.
So it's best to put your savings into it!
    good luck!

    Dear Ruud,
You don't mention where your wife is from.
If she's from Hua Hin, I understand that you're going to look there, but she doesn't have her family in Hua Hin
I would make her happy with a house purchase / rent in the place where she comes from.
That is the best remedy for homesickness.
You might also save 30% on living costs.
