Reader question: When is Loy Krathong celebrated in Sukhothai?
Dear readers,
Does anyone know when Loy Krathong is celebrated in Sukhothai? On November 6 or 7? Is this only in the evening or is there also something to do there during the day?
I assume it is very busy there, can Sukothai still be reached by car if you arrive in the afternoon?

I'm also going to Sukothai to celebrate Loi Kratong. This will take place on November 6. The festivities start a few days earlier. Very busy then, so best to book a hotel quickly..
On November 6, I can advise you to take a taxi because parking is difficult due to crowds.
