I live in Pattaya and have to have an ultrasound performed on my liver, bile ducts and pancreas on medical advice. Is there anyone who has experience with this and can recommend me a doctor in this area? As well as the hospital where he is employed, he was not allowed to have a practice in this area.

In your place I would choose the renowned Bangkok hospital on Sukumvitroad.

Bangkok hospital indeed the best for Dutch health insurance. There is also a Dutchman present who helps you with translations. It's just good service that is provided there. I would drive 2 hours for it. The best hospital in Thailand.
Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok. No comparison, also from my own experience, with others. Bumringrad Bangkok is a very good 2nd.
BKK Pattaya Hospital is only reasonable but not tender (sometimes even absurdly high) with its bills.
Bumrungrad has been number 1 for years, but BangkokPattaya is fine for what you are looking for
For an examination, Bangkok Hospital on Sukhumvit is the best address.
Dutch guidance available ..
