Dear readers,

We travel to Bangkok on December 11, 2014 and from there want to take the train to Ban Krut in the province of Khiri Khan. My question now is, does a train stop there?

With kind regards,

Henk

This information can be found at the link below

    Train
The most convenient train is the Sprinter (special express train no. 43) which leaves from Bangkok Hua Lumpong railway station at 08:05, Hua Hin at 11:11, and arrives in Ban Krut at 12:47.

Several other trains stop as well in Ban Krut, but their travel time is considerably longer.

    Hey Hank,

If you're not time-pressed, take third class.
You sit on wooden benches, with the windows all open. Comfort is missing…
But there are vendors with drinks, food and sweets walking up and down the corridor all the time, and the atmosphere between the other, mostly Thai, travelers is very pleasant.

I did it recently. From Hua Hin to Bangsaphan Noi. About 230 km, three and a half hours. Cost 36 Thb. For the price you should not let it go…

    Hello,

Yes, a train stops there in Ban Krut, a fantastic village with a beautiful beach. Recommended! We took the express train from Ban Krut back to Bangkok, which was very pleasant.
