Thailand question: Do I need a yellow vaccination book in Thailand?
Dear readers,
I regularly read on this forum about a yellow vaccination booklet that you would need in Thailand. I live in Belgium and have the European Covidsafe app on my iPhone, which lists my Covid-19 vaccinations.
Is this app also accepted as a yellow book?
Regards,
Peter
Editors: Do you have a question for the readers of Thailandblog? Use it contact form..
Belgians don't have a yellow book, they don't need them all, everything is on the European Covid safe app.
Would also print this out and bring it with you just in case.
Your app. Is excellent.
Dear Peter,
The Thai Yellow Vaccination booklet is ONLY for Residents & those vaccinated in Thailand!
Anyone who enters Thailand has A/ a COE & B/ From his country the necessary documents and QR code that indicates which vaccine/date & Lot/no. He Or She is vaccinated!
Pleasant stay!
Best regards.
As a correction, a Thai can only obtain the yellow vaccination booklet if he or she has been vaccinated in Thailand and is in possession of a valid Thai passport.
I also obtained my Thai yellow book with valid Dutch passport and 50 baht fee at the lamphun health office.
In Holland I was no longer known in the system of the GGD and RIVM, of course still with the tax authorities.
Jan Beute.
We have just received our COE.
You are asked: “An original paper or a print out of online vaccination certificate”.
This certificate can be downloaded by Belgians at https://www.mijngezondheid.be
– In the menu “COVID 19 – Personal data”
– choose the option “My EU Digital COVID-Certificate / COVID Safe ticket”.
– Log in with itsme, or with ID card reader, or some other options.
Then you will be given the option to download or print the certificate.
