Dear readers,

I have a question about Thailand Pass. This may be changed again as of June 1, but for now I have this question. I travel to the Netherlands on May 15 and back to Thailand on June 6.

I have a Non O retirement visa until February next year. I am going to apply for re-entry for return to Thailand. I must have insurance on entry with a minimum cover of $10.000 I read.

Is it sufficient to take out insurance for, for example, 5 days for the Thailand Pass or does it have to have a minimum period of validity? I will continue in Thailand for retirement.

Regards,

If you don't have serious insurance yet, but just an easy solution to get the Thailand Pass approved then I would say buy a FWD policy (30 days) for 650 THB. You can find it on the Thailand Pass website http://tp.consular.go.th

To be properly insured, this is of course not a solution.
