Reader Question: How do I get rid of termites?
Dear readers,
Often heard of it, never thought about it and suddenly there they are: Termites. Hence my question; does anyone have an idea how I can get rid of them or does anyone know a firm in Pattaya that can handle that?
Thanks in advance,
Jan
Hi Paul,
Is it possible to hear from you a price of Bio pest control?
We have a bad experience with a company, which we have clearly but firmly sent out.
LOUISE
Hallo,
Anyone know a firm in Hua Hin?
Carl: Rentokil Huahin is located on the corner of soi 56 and the so-called Klon Rd at the traffic lights. Tel 08-51599803
Kuhn Sabai Khunyuang.
Regards Harry
Had Renttokill myself, liked it now in the "new house we found out that they had eaten nice wood that termites immediately spray and everything died unfortunately too late, a lot of woodwork already finished 🙁
This company is known worldwide and will also be everywhere in Thailand ff google!
I had already thought of Rettokill. How are the prices there?
Sorry price I forgot but good service and adequate
success
I have been using a Bangkok firm for my house in Changwat chonburi for over three years
Before my renovation, this house (wooden parquet, pickled cupboards) was ruined by termites. Now I have been rid of this scum for a long time. Inspections are done on a regular basis. There is even an insurance included against damage caused by these scary critters. The coordinates of these 300 % reliable company can be obtained via PM.
hi, I also had the same problem, just remove expired oil from the spot and you'll get rid of it, good luck with it, joop
Dear Joop, that's what I thought at the time, but expired oil doesn't work.
But I already heard from the Thais that this does not work , but I also thought I knew better than they did .
Apart from ruining the environment and the soil, it doesn't help anything.
Oh yes , they will not return to the place where the oil is .
But what you don't see is, with this method you kill a few.
But the rest of the ant family will move on and come back to you tomorrow or maybe next week for coffee, in your expensive wooden kitchen cabinets made of chipboard.
Jan Beute.
When you build a new house.
Then you can have a PVC pipe system installed under the floor of your house.
You can regularly fill this outside somewhere close to the foundation of your house with an anti-termite liquid.
I also know the termite phenomenon in Thai they call it Pwoark or something like that.
I always deal with them with Chaindrite , but there are other means as well .
A very good one is from Bayer in Germany and is sometimes used, but it is extremely expensive.
Put the agent mixed with water in a two-stroke gasoline backpack pump of Chinese make and open the ceiling somewhere.
And go spray.
But no matter how you do it, or get used to it, take my word for it.
They always come back , and know where to find you .
Termites are a race of ants that live underground in moist areas.
It is a battle that in my opinion you can never win , by any means or expertise .
They are not that big about 6 to 7 mm white in color.
The soldiers are somewhat larger and can bite well .
The Queen ( is 5 to 6 cm tall and a delicacy for Thais ) lives somewhere in the middle of a hump of sand
as hard as concrete.
They always make a tunnel of sand , so that birds do not see them .
Do you suddenly come across a strip of sand somewhere in your house next to a cupboard or window frame or in your sink cupboard?
Then you definitely have a problem, they are there
They do not eat good tropical hardwood, they do try, but you no longer see a kind of stripe on your wood.
Buy cheap wood for your home , or even furniture made of chipboard and veneer , among other things .
A feast for termites.
They once completely devoured me a quality brand Vera street broom from Holland made of willow wood, three weeks after arrival from the Netherlands.
Be on the lookout they are silent killers.
Jan Beute.
termites love softer woods, especially chipboard; so use teak wood where possible

Ed, Dutchman, and owner of

The risk that employees continue to work under this name,
says nothing more about the reliability before.

Oh, okay, I know the name
and the construction, concerns the Swiss,
I just thought this was in the past.
It doesn't matter to me personally
who owns it, I like fried cockroaches myself,
I just hope Ed would have been happy with this.
More for personal reasons, as a loved one of the deceased.
Thanks for your reply.
