Reader question: What about the beach beds in Hua Hin at the moment?
Dear readers,
I haven't read anything about the lack of beach beds in Hua Hin (Takiab) for a while and I want to ask if anyone who has been there recently knows if beds are allowed again?
Go to Thailand again in January.

no more problems at all 2 beaches in Takiab (monkey beach and large beach), only the restaurants are a bit moved, I live here and everything is ok

There are beach beds next to the Hilton, but much fewer than in other years. From the Hilton to the entrance to the beach. But everything less. And if you want to walk further, past the Marriot Hotel there are also beach chairs. On Wednesday the chairs are gone, you can still walk there.

I want to spend the winter on Phuket in 2016, but if there are no sunbeds on the beach there, that is not attractive. Does anyone know if beach beds are available for rent again or if you can bring your own stretchers like last year? I would like to know this, because I would now like to record the trip!
