Dear readers,

If I arrive at Don Muaeng and I want to take the shuttle bus to Suvarnabhumi without having a flight ticket for the latter airport, is that possible? I want to take the bus from Suvarnabhumi to Jomtien.

MVG and thanks for your comments,

Kidney

    No.
You must show a ticket of departure of the day you are departing.

    200 bath works wonders.

This is not possible with the airport shuttle bus, Option is with the public bus no 555 opposite the airport or with the minivan, arrival hall right at the end of the parking lot costs 50 Bath and 50 Bath for a large suitcase (hand luggage Free)

    Hello Rene

You will not be taken without a ticket!!! I've tried to pay but they won't.
Alternatively, you can take bus 555 that leaves from Don Muang train station. This will take you to the Transportation Hub of Suvanabhumi and from there you can take the free shuttle bus to the airport.

    Success!

If you don't have a plane ticket, you can't take the shuttle from dom mueng to subv. There is a bus that drives to victory monument within 20 minutes and then to pya Thai station and with the city line to subv. mueng to subv takes almost 2 hours

I suspect you mean Phaya Thai.

Vans (Vans) no longer depart from Victory Monument. I saw it 2 weeks ago. The round square looked empty, with many city buses on the edge of the square.

Outside Don Mueang Airport, opposite the station, take the air-conditioned city bus 554 to Suvarna. Costs 40 baht and takes around an hour.

    Hi Rene,

As far as I know, that's not allowed. I had to show my plane ticket 2 years ago before I could get on the bus.

    Regards Anita.

My travel agency gave me a paper. With that -that paper showed the driver- I could take the Shuttle bus from DMK to BKK, although I did not have a plane ticket from BKK (I did -for a domestic flight- to DMK).

Better than taking a bus to Mo chi, from there there is a bus to Pattaya every half hour. The disadvantage of the bus from Suvannaphoem to Jomtien is that you often have to wait one to two hours before there is a place. And, as far as I know, you still can't buy tickets online. Then it becomes a very long-term undertaking.

Dear Rene, enough good responses to your question. Personally, I would not see the savings on the baths in proportion to the loss of time of traveling and waiting for the bus, but I would take a taxi on Don Muaeng (possibly pre-booked) directly to Pattaya / Jomtien. But of course I can't look in your wallet. Another possibility is to take the A1 shuttle bus from Don Mueang to Morchit bus station, travel time is 30 to 40 minutes and costs about 30 Bath. Then at Morchit take the bus (Roong Reuang Coach) to the bus station in North Pattaya, cost 135 Bath. Of course there are also costs for the songthaew taxi to your hotel in Pattaya. On Morchit there are also buses (at least in the past) with destination Jomtien. Good luck and have a nice holiday!

Took the taxi. For 500 bath it was OK.Thai satisfied and so was I.

Then you have made a good deal, I always go by bus, but what I read here about the taxi prices from bkk to Pattaya is often between 1000 and 1500 baht.

Lomlalai think Eddy means that he took a taxi from Don Mueang to Suvarnabhumi for 500 Baht, if that is not the case and he had a taxi from DM to Pattaya for 500, he has indeed been a good buyer, but this seems very unlikely to me.

As usual here on this blog, again a sufficient amount of information for which thanks everyone, I and probably many others will have become a bit wiser again,
