Dear readers,

A friend of mine is coming to visit Thailand soon. I myself have been living in Bangkok for about twenty years, and I have not visited any tourist destinations for the last 5-8 years. So I am no longer aware of that.

My boyfriend is staying in Thailand for two weeks and is looking for a nice resort by the sea, with some (not too many) bars/restaurants within walking distance, not too far from Bangkok and without Russian domination. Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Olivier

    Hi Oliver.
I live in cha-am myself, but there are very few Russians here.
When my family comes they usually stay in the beachgarden,
But also the regent chalet is quiet and beautiful and the Littleshop with houses on the beach but no swimming pool are also 2 recommendations.
Hope you get along a bit further with this and maybe see you soon.

    Greetings Harry

I think you should be in Hua Hin then.

Thai Garden resort in PattaYA is 200 meters from the sea, it is beautiful there and the company management highly recommends it... we were there two years ago and are going again in January...
    Don't tell anyone… (joke)
