Reader question: Where can I buy rainwear in Pattaya?
Dear readers,
The rainy season is starting and – what is even worse – the Songkran Festival is just around the corner. That means leaving the house as little as possible, shopping or doing early mornings or between showers. I don't like the idea of being stuck at home, but I don't always want to arrive at my destination soaking wet, so I use rain gear on the scooter.
By rainwear I don't mean that wafer-thin plastic jacket that you buy for about 30 Baht at the Family Mart or 7-Eleven, but a decent rain suit. I don't feel like trudging through all the department stores or driving all over the country to find such a rain suit, so my question is, are there any blog readers who can give me some good tips where to find this kind of rain gear in Pattaya/Jomtien? is for sale?

good rain suits, such as in Holland, are not ideal, you are protected from the rain, but you still get soaking wet, but on the inside. Your sweat can't go away and settles down
Maybe have 1 sent from Belgium or the Netherlands?
Costs practically nothing at Action (+- 20 euros) for jacket and trousers of excellent quality!

A few possibilities:
-A shop where they sell attributes for sea fishing, fishing rods, etc
-A good motorcycle store for rainwear, several in Pattaya Pramtamnuk Hill and Sukhumvit
-Ocean Marina on the Sukhumvit for rental / sale of sailing ships / motor ships and attributes.

Plenty of choice and also larger sizes.
