Home » Reader question » Reader question: Does the Austrian consulate still issue income statements?
Dear readers,
In recent years I have neatly extended my “retirement” visa through a bank credit of 800,000. Now see to my horror that I do not meet the required 3 months of sufficient balance.
This has happened to me once in the past and then the Austrian Consulate in Pattaya, after having approved my pension papers, issued an income statement. Am not in Thailand at the moment and unable to reach the consulate.
My question, does the Austrian consulate still issue these statements?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Henri

Yes, the Austrian consulate still issues an income statement.
Sure. I went there last Wednesday to get an income statement. Costs 1620 Baht and within 5 minutes outside!
Simply yes, this is still possible there
yes the austrian consulate in pattaya still does . subject to payment of course.
Yes, still on working days from 11 am – 17 pm.
Via internet: telephone 038 71 36 13, email [email protected]
I went last Wednesday, no problem, only opening times changed open from 11:00 to 17:00
As far as I know he still does.
And otherwise there is still the embassy.
The Austrian Consulate still issues an income statement (cost: 1650 Baht – 2016)
If there is a demonstrable minimum of 65.000 Baht in income per month, the 800.000 Baht for at least 3 months in the bank is not necessary.
Simple answer: yes!
The austrian consulate remains friendly and happy to help us (for a fee)
Yes, provided you can submit last year's annual income statements with a total sufficient amount. And bring your passport.
Why not obtain an income statement in writing via the Dutch embassy? Costs € 17,50 and you don't have to go anywhere for it. My experience duration maximum 5 days.
Best regards. Bz
Thanks to all respondents.
Dear Henri,
Indeed, you can still join
the AUSTRIAN CONSULATE
rightly so.
